My name is Mayra Tovar, LCSW. I am a first-generation Mexican-American psychotherapist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to inclusivity and culturally responsive care. My experience spans intimate partner and domestic violence, school social work, and medical social work. I use an eclectic approach to therapy, tailoring interventions to meet each client’s unique needs.

Therapy is more than a profession for me—it is a calling. I have witnessed the transformative power of compassion, grace, and understanding in helping people navigate trauma, anxiety, and major life challenges. My goal is to walk alongside each client toward clarity, resilience, and restoration, offering support and tools for lasting change. I am committed to culturally sensitive, faith-informed, and trauma-informed care, creating a space where every client feels seen, supported, and able to heal.
